We kindly ask all potential puppy buyers to complete our screening questionnaire before moving forward. Once submitted, we will gladly provide a copy of our contract for review. All puppies are placed with limited AKC registration by default. Full registration may be considered only if the dog is titled, health tested, and deemed suitable for breeding.
We do not sell to brokers, commercial operations, puppy mills, backyard breeders, or individuals seeking dogs for resale. Every puppy we place will be:
Cropped and docked
Microchipped
DNA tested via Embark and enrolled in the Doberman Diversity Project
Raised indoors alongside other pets
Leash broken and crate accustomed
Our genetic health panel includes results for vWD, DINGS, DCM1, DCM2, DM, and other relevant markers.
All of our puppies are cropped prior to placement with a medium working crop, performed by the talented Dr. Anne Midgarden. While we are committed to cropping as part of our program's structure and goals, we will honor natural request under the following strict conditions:
A deposit must be placed before the puppy reaches 3–5 days of age (prior to docking)
The puppy must be paid in full prior to the crop date
We do not allow later cropping or cropping performed by any veterinarian other than Dr. Midgarden
If you’re inquiring about a puppy that is already cropped, please be prepared to commit fully to ear posting until the ears are standing. If this commitment isn't feasible, we ask that you explore other programs. As it is heartbreaking to us seeing a "cropped and flopped" puppy.
Ear posting typically continues until teething concludes, though duration can vary. If you think you're done, you're probably not.
